Jam on Hawthorne show news

Our ongoing shows at Jam on Hawthorne now start at 6pm, making it easier for everyone to attend.
Jam is now booking gypsy jazz every Thursday! We still play 1st & 3rd Thursdays. Look for other bands such as Russell Gores' Hot Club Time Machine to alternate with us.
We've been rotating the lineup and having a blast. There is so much talent in town! In the last few months we have featured new-to-us gypsy jammers

• Natalia Burgess on vocals and mandolin
• Joel Morrisette on mandolin
• Jason Reichert on dobro/slide
• Andrew Jones on bass
• Dan Golden on bass

and playing in November is
• Jim Bryan on accordion (and mandolin?)
• Kevin Eastes on bass

We'll try to post personnel in the descriptions in the calendar (click on an event to show). Or just drop in to see who we have on any given 1st or 3rd Thursday!

The Hot Club of Hawthorne was featured on LIVE television on KGW channel 8! Included was a short interview of Jeffree White, and a run through "Sweet Georgia Brown". Also in the band were Tommy Houston on guitar, Larry Nobori on clarinet, and Jim Delaney on bass. Thanks so much, KGW!!!

We play at the Jade Lounge on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6-7:45pm. Free (but purchase required). We've been saying that it is 21+, but actually the Jade is ALL AGES until 8pm!
